The CRI compares your application numbers (cumulative GPA, science GPA, and your MCAT or GRE score) against data from students who got into CAA programs. You get a score from 0 to 100 that shows where you stand before you apply.

Our dataset is built from self-reported scores submitted by accepted CAA applicants across multiple application cycles. All data is anonymized and aggregated to protect individual privacy.

Your score combines three things: your cumulative GPA, your science GPA, and your test score (MCAT or GRE). We compare each one to everyone in our accepted-applicant data, give your grades and your test score equal weight, and turn the result into a number from 0 to 100. A score of 50 means your numbers land right in the middle of all accepted applicants in our data.

Not necessarily. The CRI only measures how your grades and test score rank against accepted applicants. It doesn't account for experience hours, letters of recommendation, interviews, or the other things programs care about. Think of it as one helpful data point, not the final answer.
